چکیده
Self-Boosting Vaccination In article number 2207892, Xiang Gao, Bo Liu, Jing and co-workers propose a pulsatile antigen released core-shell microparticle namely LbL/MPs to achieve self-boosting vaccination after single-injection simulate multi-injection immunization. show multiple release characteristics can effectively induce immune response. The microstructure supplies the characteristic of provides new promising strategy for vaccine development.

Influence of Additives on Fabrication and Release from Protein Loaded Microparticles
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of additives, poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) 1450, poloxamer 407, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and sodium chloride in order to improve physico-chemical characteristics, encapsulation efficiency and in vitro release of bovine serum albumin, form poly(D,L-lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) microparticles prepared by the w/o/w solvent evaporation...
متن کاملParameters influencing the antigen release from spray-dried poly(DL-lactide) microparticles.
Microparticles were produced by spray-drying from a high molecular weight polylactide (PLA R207) for the development of long-lasting controlled release systems of vaccines, which may be designed to obviate the need for booster doses. The current investigation considered the effect of both technological parameters (inlet air temperature and spray rate of feed) and polymeric solutions (polymer co...
متن کاملControlled Release of Drugs from Microparticles Produced by Ultrasonic Assisted Atomization Based on Biocompatible Polymers
Microencapsulation of active molecules in biocompatible polymers is a matter of great interest in pharmaceutical sciences. Ultrasonic assisted atomization as a new technique to produce microencapsulated systems seems to offer several advantages (low level of mechanical stress in materials, reduced energy request, reduced apparatuses size) with respect to more conventional techniques. In this wo...
متن کاملDesign, Evaluation and Comparative Study of Pulsatile Release from Tablet and Capsule Dosage Forms
The objective of present research was to design, evaluate and compare drug release from two different dosage forms in pulsatile drug delivery system (DDS) for Metoprolol tartarate (MT) as tablet and capsule. Pulsatile systems are gaining a lot of interest as they deliver the drug at the right site of action at the right time and in the right amount, thus providing spatial and temporal del...
متن کاملSustained Release of Risedronate from PLGA Microparticles Embedded in Alginate Hydrogel for Treatment of Bony Lesions
Background: Inflammatory bone resorption in periodontitis can lead to tooth loss. Systemic administration of bisphosphonates such as risedronate for preventing bone resorption can cause adverse effects. Alginate hydrogel (ALG) and poly (lactic acid-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) microparticles have been studied as drug delivery systems for sustained release of drugs. Therefore, the release pattern of...
